We love meeting people from all over the world, and our experienced tour guides love to travel around the city and share the wonders within.
From visiting the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Bank of America Stadium that the Carolina Panthers call home to the beautiful and illustrious parks such as the Romare Bearden Park, so named after the Charlotte-born artist, there are numerous sites to behold. Not only will you see the the city for its beauty, you'll find a certain charm in the people that roam the city.
Our itinerary changes with each tour we offer, so you'll never have the same tour twice!

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is our tour?
Historical tours are $39 for Adults and $27 for children ages 4-12, plus tax.
Haunted tours are $48 per person, plus tax.
Toddlers and Infants from 0-3 ride free.
What times are tours offered?
Historical tours are offered at 9am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 3pm, and 5pm Sunday thru Saturday.
Haunted tours are offered at 7:30pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
What can we expect from the historical tour?
At Southern Charm Rides you can expect to see a variety of historical locations ranging from the NASCAR Hall of Fame, the Firebird Statue, and all the wonderful people and Victorian homes of the historical Fourth Ward neighborhood, plus street performers that call Charlotte home.
Stops at various locations are met with facts and history about the spot, so you'll be sure to learn a lot about our wonderful city and its history!
How long do the tours last?
Our tours run for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes), but they may go a few minutes over or under depending on traffic.
Where do we meet?
Our tours now tours depart from 224 E 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28202. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early as our tours depart on time.
Our carts typically arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time based on previous tours and leave on time. We will pickup at the entrance to The Market at 7th St.
What about parking?
Both historical and haunted tours pick up at the entrance of the Market at 7th St. at 224 E. 7th. Street. Parking is available at The Market at 7th St. Parking Deck and is discounted with proof of a Southern Charm Ride ticket, when available.
What is your refund policy?
Free cancellations up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour. In case of inclement weather at the tour site a full refund may be offered. We will contact you in the event of a cancellation being necessary. Any cancellations or alterations will not be honored under 24 hours and a refund will not be issued.
Do you offer custom tours?
We do offer some customization of the tours including times and venues visited. Please contact us to discuss options and payment.
What about sports events and concerts?
We offer rides during sports and events and concerts! Contact us for info!
What if I need to alter my booking?
If you need to update your booking for any reason you have until 24 hours prior to your selected tour time and date, including changing the time or cancelling the tour for a full refund. You can contact us by phone or email to make changes if you booked through our website. For bookings done on Viator/Tripadvisor, any other 3rd party agency, please contact their customer support.
Are service animals allowed?
We do allow service animals, please contact us to make arrangements. If you book through third-party services such as Viator or TripAdvisor, please contact us directly regarding service animals.
We maintain right to refuse service to maintain a pleasant tour.
In the event of safety concerns, guest misconduct, and/or any validated concerns that pose a risk to the tour we will refuse service.
